Tightening it up!
After having the project sit for around two years, it was nice to go back to YULETIDE and make some much needed tweaks.
For starters, I made the game a bit easier after playtesting with others led me to believe that the game was needlessly hard in spots. On top of that, I believe the game's design doesn't really support challenging gameplay. The true pull of YULETIDE lies directly in its interactions rather than its RPG elements. Therefore, it was necessary to not only balance several battle encounters, but also have more ways to easily heal and survive.
I've also received feedback on how the game's strongest moment lies in its main boss battle, so I've made strides to quicken the game's pace in order for players to actually see those moments.
And finally, I addressed a number of bugs and text errors. This, I believe, will be the final update to the game in its current state. Until, of course, I decide to keep going further with YULETIDE.
